EVENT PLANNER TURNED HOMESCHOOL MOM

Ever since I was a little girl, I’ve had these big plans. Get married. Have babies. Drive a minivan. Teach kindergarten. But maybe also become a wedding planner…

I’m happy to say that God has blessed me with just about all of those things. I married my high school sweetheart, Buddy, about 15 years ago. My three kids are wild, creative, and so very sweet. My minivan gets us where we need to go. I’ve never planned a wedding other than my own, but I did spend a few years planning events for nonprofits before the kids came along. And while I’ve never worked as a public school teacher, I’m about to start teaching kindergarten for the third time as a homeschool mom.

My life is pretty sweet these days. My introverted heart loves spending my days teaching, learning, baking, and hanging out with my kids at home. We love weekly library trips and doing art together as a family in the evenings.

I’m passionate about hands on homeschooling and making life a bit simpler for homeschooling moms. While you’re here, I hope you’ll find plenty of encouragement here, some fun ideas for your kids, and a few ways to make life a little easier at home!
